Fishcakes are a tasty and healthy dish. Its best to use fish with a dense fillet. In this recipe I used bass.
Flour can be replaced with breadcrumbs.
These cakes are perfect for any side dish like rice, potatoes or vegetables, mashed potatoes, pasta, salad.

Fishcakes are a tasty and healthy dish. Its best to use fish with a dense fillet. In this recipe I used bass. Flour can be replaced …
- 400 g fish fillets white
- 1 small onion
- salt, pepper to taste
- 1 egg
- 60 g white bread
- 1/3 cup milk
- 40-50 g flour
- parsley to taste
- 50 g butter
- vegetable oil
- Soak the bread in milk, then squeeze out excess milk. Grind the fish fillet with onion in a meat grinder. If you don't have a meat grinder you can mince the fish and onion with a sharp knife. In the same bowl, add salt, pepper, egg, bread, finely chopped parsley and butter at room temperature. Thoroughly mix everything, cover and place in the refrigerator for half an hour.
- Make medium meatballs from the fish mix, roll them in flour and fry over medium heat, in hot vegetable oil on both sides, slightly press with spatula. Cook about 4-5 minutes on each side.
