Stuffed Baked Prunes in Bacon

Easy and tasty appetizer. I used Jarlsberg cheese but you can use any other cheese of your choice  and instead of walnuts you can use toasted almonds. The bacon juices balance the sweetness and make it a hearty appetizer, great with white wine or a tapas party!

  1. Soak the seedless prunes in boiling water until tender. Cut the cheese into small pieces the size of a prune seed. Cut the bacon half. Put the nut and cheese inside of prunes and wrap the prunes in a slice of half bacon, secure with a wooden skewers and arrange on a baking sheet.
  2. Heat the oven to 220'C (430F). Put a baking sheet and bake until the bacon is crisp, about 10-15 min.
