Cheese Madeleine with Rosemary
Last year I finally got a special form for madeleine cookies so I’ve been trying all different types. Initially I baked lemon madeleines then orange. I decided to switch things up and do a more savory type of madeleine using parmesan cheese. They are perfect for a party and can be served with white wine or take on a picnic. Great idea for Christmas!

Ingredients
- 1.3 cup flour unbleach
- 1 tsp backing powder
- 1/4 tsp salt coarse
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup parmesan or any similar cheese, grated
- 1 tbsp rosemary leaves
Instructions
- Mix sifted flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, lightly beaten egg and sour cream together. Then add the grated cheese and finely chopped rosemary leaves. Mix again.
- Spray the madeleine mold with cooking spray, and pour the batter into the mold. Place in a preheated 218'C (425F) oven for 10-12 minutes. Serve warm.
