Baked Brie with Fig Jam and Nuts

This appetizer can be cooked two ways, with or without the puff pastry. If you decide to cook without puff pastry, then cut the cheese lengthwise into two parts, spread the jam with walnuts and thyme in the middle of the first part, wrap cheese tightly on all sides with foil. Cook in the oven for 10-15 minutes. Serve cheese with crackers, toast, fruit and wine.

  1. Put a layer of puff pastry in a pan with parchment. Place the brie in the middle, spread on top with jam, sprinkle with crushed nuts and thyme leaves. Wrap the cheese with the dough tightly on all sides.
  2. Place in preheated 190'C oven and for 20-25 minutes.
