Tomatillo Salsa Verde

Salsa verde is a simple, green Mexican sauce made from tomatillos (they originate from Mexico, the taste is tart and vibrant. They are eaten raw or cooked in a variety of dishes, particularly salsa verde). A really authentic, full-of-flavor salsa, perfect with chips, eggs, quesadillas, enchiladas, chicharrĂ³nes, or as a topping for carne asada tacos.
Great for dinner, any party, or Cinco de Mayo! This recipe is a simple, raw version of salsa verde, in which ingredients are ground and eaten without cooking or roasting vegetables.
Serrano peppers can be replaced with jalapenos. Adjust the sharpness (heat) of the salsa to your taste, so you can add 1 or 2 peppers with seeds or without them.
Salsa Verde is a fresh and healthy salsa. Much tastier than from a can or jar.
