Salad with Tomatoes and Peppers

Fresh, fragrant and tasty salad, with a slight bite of chili pepper and a pleasant tartness of capers, very easy to prepare. Dry the bread or fry it in a dry frying pan. If you don’t have capers, you can add finely chopped anchovies or feta cheese. Sometimes I add mozzarella cheese as well.

  1. Cut the bread into medium cubes and dry in a toaster or grill. Remove the seeds from the pepper and chop the onion into strips. Slice the tomato into medium slices. Finely chop the chili and garlic. Mix together, except the bread, add the capers, salt, pepper and olive oil. Stir and let stand for a bit. Just before serving, add the bread to the salad and stir again.
