A great appetizer for a party or simply with dinner. Adding the garlic is optional, but it gives a nice sharpness for the dish. You can also add raisins.

Ingredients
- 1 large beet
- 0.25 cup prunes
- 0.25 cup peeled walnuts
- 1 clove of garlic
- 0.5 tsp lemon juice
- 1-2 tbsp mayonnaise
- herbs for decoration
Instructions
- Boil beet in a water for about 40-50 minutes until cooked. Cool, peel and grate on a coarse grater. Cut the prunes into small pieces, crush the nuts in a mortar, and crush the garlic. Mix the beet with prunes, walnuts, garlic, lemon juice and mayonnaise. Put in bowl and garnish with greens.
