Spring is asparagus season. This is one of the earliest vegetables which ripens in April and May. Asparagus is very unique since it make a great combination with almost any product from cheese, ham, fruit, berries, fish, meat, and salads. You can make soups, beverages and even desserts from asparagus. The main thing when preparing asparagus: cut thick stems and don’t over cook or it will lose it’s nice, bright, natural color.

Ingredients
- 100 g asparagus round or square shape
- half of the onion
- olive oil
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp vinegar
- pinch of cayenne pepper
- 1-2 cloves of garlic
Instructions
- Soak the asparagus and periodically change the water. Cut the ends. Finely chop the onion into half rings. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and saute the onion until golden brown. Add the asparagus and fry for about 2-3 minutes, then add the soy sauce, vinegar, sprinkle with cayenne pepper, and finely chopped garlic. Stir again and let cook for another minute. Place on platter and garnish with herbs.
