Pico de Gallo

This recipe is great with chips and is perfect for summer barbecues and parties or winter Super Bowl Sunday party. Jalepeno peppers can be substituted with serrano peppers or even habanero if you like it very hot. The key to this recipe is not to blend the ingredients and not to cut the pieces too large, it’s important the ingredients are finely chopped and sliced. A perfect recipe for perfecting your knife skills. Serve with beer such as “Corona” 🙂

Instructions

  1. First, all ingredients must be chopped very fine. Start with the onion, followed by the tomatoes, cilantro and in the end cut the peppers. Mix all together putting the salt, garlic powder, lime juice and cilantro on top. Let set in the refrigerator for at least a half hour to allow the juices to set.
