You can make these tasty Parmesan crisps ahead of time and they’ll make a great appetizer or salad garnish for any holiday! You can prepare up two days in advancet. Be careful to cool the crisps completely before storing in an airtight container and serve at room temperature. Instead of black pepper you can add cayenne pepper in this recipe or smoked paprika.

Ingredients
- 50 g (1.8oz) parmesan grated
- ground black pepper to taste
- 1 pear
- 1 sprig mint
Instructions
- Chop the mint leaves and slice the pear into thin slices, removing the core.
- Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper. Divide cheese into 8 parts and make small piles on the baking sheet. Then gently flatten and spread them out.
- Put in a preheated 180'C (356F) oven for 3 minutes. Sprinkle slightly with the mint and pepper and return to the oven for another 2 minutes, then remove to plate.
- Top with a few pear slices and serve when cool.
