- 2 pcs rainbow trout
- dried herbs: basil, oregano, parsley, thyme to taste
- paprika to taste
- salt, pepper
- a small pinch of hot pepper
- 1-2 lemons
- olive oil
- cedar plank
- Soak the cedar plank in water for 4-6 hours. When ready, spread a little olive oil on the surface where the fish will set and rub the fish inside and out with dry herbs and spices, salt and pepper. Place on the board and add lemon slices inside the fish.
- Place the cedar plank on the grill grate, cover and cook for 30-120 minutes depending on the heat and size of fish. Cooking at a lower temperature for longer will give you a great smoked trout.
