Tasty potatoes with smoked bacon and the aroma of herbs and garlic. I prefer to use Yukon Gold or red potatoes for this recipe. Cook the potatoes in salted water first, that way the inside cooks before the outside burns. Another great side dish for grilled meats and camping.

Ingredients
- 4 potatoes
- 2 strips of bacon
- 1-2 cloves of garlic
- 2 shallots
- herbs to your taste: basil, rosemary, oregano, thyme, tarragon, sage
- salt, pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes in salted water for about 10 minutes.
- Chop the garlic, bacon and herbs. Cut the potatoes into 4 pieces, put in a foil, add sliced shallots, garlic, bacon, herbs, then sprinkle with salt and pepper if necessary. Close the foil tightly and cook directly on charcoal until potatoes are finished, about 20 minutes.
