Rosemary Cookies with Orange Zest, Honey & Sea Salt in Ninja Crispi Pro

Delicate, buttery cookies infused with fragrant fresh rosemary, bright orange zest. A touch of honey and a sprinkle of coarse sea salt create a beautiful balance of sweet and savory flavors. These cookies are easy to prepare in the Ninja Crispi Pro and perfect for a little afternoon treat!

Ingredients

* 130 g all-purpose flour
* 35 g sugar
* 100 g butter, melted and slightly cooled
* 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
* Zest of 1 medium orange
* 1–2 tbsp honey
* Raw sugar, for sprinkling
* Coarse sea salt, for sprinkling

Instructions

1. Prepare the dough

Combine the flour, sugar, melted butter, rosemary, orange zest. Mix until the dough comes together.

Shape the dough into a log, wrap it, and refrigerate for 40 -60 minutes until firm.

2. Prepare the Ninja Crispi Pro

Select the Bake function and set the temperature to 320°F / 160°C.

3. Bake the cookies

Slice the chilled dough into approximately 5 mm thick cookies.

Place the cookies in a single layer in the Ninja basket, leaving some space between them. Use a small piece of parchment paper underneath, ensuring it does not block the airflow.

Bake at 320°F / 160°C for approximately 8–10 minutes, checking at 8 minutes. The cookies should be lightly golden around the edges.

4. Add the finishing touches

Carefully brush the warm cookies with a thin layer of honey. Sprinkle with raw sugar and coarse sea salt.

Return to the Ninja and bake at 300°F / 150°C for another 1–2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent excessive browning.

5. Cool and serve

Allow the cookies to rest for 3–5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack. They will become firmer and more delicate as they cool.

Enjoy with tea or your favorite afternoon drink!

Ninja Crispi Pro Tips

* Bake the first batch for 8 minutes and check for doneness.
* Keep the cookies approximately 5 mm thick for even baking.
