New recipe, love the dough

Rugelach, Rogaliki, Roczki Cookies, Kolacky, Kolaczki, Polish Cookies and many more different names and similar recipes for this delicious cookie. This time we made with walnuts, cinnamon, lemon, honey filling and fig preserves filling (my fav), but there are so many different choices. Some of my favorite, also with apricot preserves and poppy seeds filling.

Love the new recipe for the dough, easy to work, also they stay do fresh on next day. For the dough: 2 1/2 cup flour, 1 tbsp east (~12g), 1 cup butter (room temp), 3 tbsp sugar, 2 egg yolks (beaten), 3/4 cup sour cream.

For the filling: walnuts or pecans (ground fine), vanilla, lemon or orange zest, sugar/ honey, lemon juice, 2 egg whites.  Also, you can use fruit/ berries preserves for the filling.
