Sous Vide pheasant
I got some pheasant breast from Kyle’s uncle last week. I made them a long time before with bacon, but this time, I tried sous vide. So, tonight, I made 8 breasts with butter, garlic powder, salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary. After cooking them in sous vide I seared them quickly in a pan. Omg, the meat is so tender and juicy; the flavors were amazing! I don’t cook chicken in Minnesota a lot, but pheasant reminds me a little bit of a really good chicken, but leaner and more gamey. I still have 4 more birds, so I’m thinking of making them next time with some gravy.
