Slivyanka, plum liqueur

Skivyanka, plum liqueur. From 10 kg of plums, a little more than 10 l of super delicious drink.

plums 1 kg

vodka 0.5l

sugar 300g

Rinse the ripe plums thoroughly, remove the pits and cut into small pieces. 2. Place the chopped plums in a jar or wine bucket. I also put them in a special wine making bag. 3. Add vodka, Plum should be completely covered. Close the jar with a lid and shake the contents. 4. Put the jar in a cool, dark place for 30 days. 5. Filter the resulting infusion through cheesecloth, carefully draining it from the sediment so as not to crush the fruit. We will need them later. 6. Add sugar to the jar or wine bucket with plum pieces, (my plums were still in the special wine bag, I just added the sugar on top), shake, close the lid and put in a cool, dark place for 7 days. This is enough time for the sugar to turn into syrup. 7. Drain the syrup, squeeze its remains in the plums through cheesecloth. 8. Mix the syrup with the vodka infusion on plums, close the jar and leave to age for 30 days. 9. Filter the finished plum brandy through cotton wool so that the drink becomes lighter. This step is optional, as clarification does not affect the taste.
