Today is National pumpkin day, so I made Calabaza en Tacha (candied pumpkin), is a traditional Mexican pumpkin (calabaza -a type of winter squash) dish cooked in brown sugar cane syrup.

We probably have the last nice, warm, and sunny week here in Minnesota, so we decided to hike and check out the beautiful leaves in the woods! Gorgeous Fall day!

After picking grapes at the winery, we got to keep a couple buckets of red grapes; some of them went for wine, and some for a sweet &sour tasty jam. I think it was the last jam I will make this year. Now my kitchen cabinets are full of some delicious sweets!
