Sweet and Spicy Baked Chicken Wings

One of my favorite recipes for crispy chicken wings, I always love the sweet and spicy combo! If you like more heat just add more red pepper. Great dish for a big company, the only one thing you’ll need is a cold beer!

  1. Mix the wings in a large bowl with vegetable oil, salt, pepper and the five spice powder. Put on the cooking rack each wing separately so they do not touch each other. Cook in a preheated oven 200 'C ( 400 F) for 45-50 minutes. While cooking, turn the wings 1 time.
  2. Pour the olive oil and sesame oil in a saucepan, add garlic and ginger, cook and for 3 minutes. Then add the hot red pepper, fig and lingonberry jam, hoisin sauce and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring all the time. Add salt if necessary.
  3. Put the wings in a deep clean bowl, pour the sauce on top and mix well, so each wing will be covered with the sauce. Serve immediately.
