Citrus Mint Lemonade

Citrus mint lemonade is a great reason to sit back and kick off your flip-flops. Try adding a bit of rum or tequila and you’ll get a great drink for a party with friends. Limes can be replaced with lemons. If it’s too sweet, add a little bit more club soda and lime juice to your taste. Perfect drink for cooling off on a hot summer night!

Instructions

  1. Boil the water with sugar, add the mint and cook for 3 minutes. Turn off, cool, then remove the mint.
  2. Squeeze the juice from the oranges and limes, and add the mint syrup. Mix and pour all into a pitcher, add the club soda, and stir again. You can add slices of oranges and lime with some mint leaves.
  3. Serve it in a tall glass with ice. And add a shot of rum or tequila if you've had a rough day 🙂
